Guide to BECU Points Rewards Credit Card Holders

For members with an existing BECU Points Rewards Credit Card, learn about your card rewards and points.

How to Access Your BECU Rewards Account Online:

  1. Log in to Online Banking using your existing credentials. If you don't have a login, enroll in Online and Mobile Banking.
  2. Navigate to your Credit Card.
  3. Click Access BECU Rewards under “Rewards.”

Earning Points

  • Earn one point for every dollar you spend on qualifying purchases.
  • Points are earned on card purchases only.

Points are not earned on:

  • Balance transfers
  • Cash advances or any cash-like transactions
  • Items returned for credit
  • Unauthorized charges
  • Interest charges
  • Account fees

Redeeming Points

Redeem your points through Online Banking anytime or by calling our Rewards Customer Service line at 855-436-1743, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your points balance, including pending redemptions, are updated daily based on your spending.

  • Redeem points for travel, gift cards, merchandise, or statement credit.
  • Redeem for rewards with as few as 100 points. There are no tiers to meet and no limit to how much you can earn.
  • If you don't have enough points to cover an entire purchase, you can combine your points and your BECU credit card to cover the total.
  • When you choose to redeem your points for gift cards, merchandise, charity or statement credit, every point equals one cent ($0.01) toward the purchase price.
  • When you choose to redeem your points for airline travel, every point redeemed equals one and one quarter of a cent ($0.0125) towards the airline ticket purchase price.

What You Can Purchase with Your Points

Redeem for as few as 2,500 points

Gift cards are available for a variety of popular brands including clothing stores, restaurants, gas, and grocery stores. Gift cards never expire.

  • 2,500 points = $25 value
  • 5,000 points = $50 value
  • 10,000 points = $100 value

Redeem for as few as 1,500 points

Shop BECU Rewards for a wide variety of electronics, home and garden goods, sports and leisure equipment, health and beauty products, fashion items, and toys.

Redeem for as few as 2,500 points

Through BECU Rewards, you can purchase a giving gift card for CharityChoice. CharityChoice gift cards connect donors to more than two million charities operating all over the globe.

  • 2,500 points = $25
  • 5,000 points = $50
  • 10,000 points = $100

Redeem for as few as 100 points

Simply use your BECU Points credit card to make purchases and earn points. Once the purchases are posted to your credit card account and your points have been updated, you can access your rewards through BECU Rewards using your existing online banking credentials.

Choose how much cash you'd like to redeem (a minimum of $1 or 100 points), and the website will tell you how many points you need. Points will be deducted from your rewards account, and a credit to your BECU credit card account will be processed within 30 days.

Please note that credits to your account will reduce the amount owed on your credit card (just like a return to a merchant) but will not apply toward your minimum payment due. If your balance is $0, the credits will apply toward future purchases.

Redeem for as few as 500 points

Pay for hotels, resorts, car rentals, cruises, vacation deals, and activities using points.

While you search BECU Rewards, you'll be able to see the cost of the booking in both points and dollars. Choose whether to pay using points only, points and your BECU credit card, or using only your credit card.

Redeem for as few as 10,000 points

Choose to redeem points for the entire cost of an airline ticket or pay using a combination of points and your BECU credit card.

To determine how many points a ticket will cost, divide the ticket cost in dollars by .0125. For example, a ticket that costs $400 will require 32,000 points ($400 / .0125 = 32,000 points).

Credit Card Cancellation, Point Expiration and Annual Fee

Use your points before canceling your credit card. You will lose any existing points when the card is canceled.

If you switch to our Cash Back Credit Card, your points will be automatically applied to your statement at a 1% cash value.

Points Valid for Five Years

Unredeemed points will expire five years from the date they are earned. Accumulated points are redeemed on a first-in, first-out basis.

Annual Participation Fee

The BECU Rewards program has a $25 annual participation fee, which is billed directly to the credit card.
